Mobile network vendors speed test comparison in South Africa

Where I am now MTN rules. Vodacom used to be strong here but they have got slack. In a normal working day Vodacom speeds are up and down all the time. Bad for businesses trying to transact with card machines etc.

MTN stable and fast.

But than again when loadshedding happens MTN towers crash straight away. Zero internet. Vodacom seems to be able to cope with 3 hour loadshedding. Their batteries probably not all stolen yet.

So I always keep a bit of Airtime in case I need buy Vodacom data .

Vodacom network performance has nosedived in the last 6 years!

MTN really is a joke during a power failure compared to VC.

If only one could get MTN performance and VC backup in one network…

MyBroadband’s Q1 2022 speed test data revealed that South Africans enjoy the fastest mobile network performance on radio equipment from Huawei.
Hmmm, isn't that a given if all the network vendors listed all use Huawei?

I'm more curious as to how MyBB was able to differentiate which equipment was being used.
