Modem / Data Cards

Does anyone know of mtn / vodacom data hsdpa cards / modems that can be bought outside of SA, a generic one, rather than a propriety card offered buy these mobile operators

I currently live in the UK and will be traveling to SA on a regular basis... I’m looking to buy a card here as these things are usually cheaper in the UK.

Any PCMCIA card that works with a Sim card should work.

just make sure it is not network or sim locked.

I got a Huawei E220 (USB modem) from MTN that was not MTN branded and also came with the original Huawei software. I use it with sims from three different networks
