Modem Stall

I noticed the one time the iburst connection went down and I tryed to find signal strenght using telnet but there was no response. I powered off uTD and Powered on again and was connected again with no problems.

Normally this method makes abs no difference and telnet works SO i ask Can the UTD stall and How Why When What T F

We have had better connectivity starting this week [mon-tues about 12 disconnect totalling about 20mins ... much better than normal 2hr connection time...but with not so good speed].

I don't recall my UTD ever crashing. Maybe what happened to you was just coincidence.
I have had my UTD on for days at a time with no problem.

I had a stalling UTD some time ago... ended up having to get the unit swopped... It was the bugger origionally causing me multiple disconnects ... seems it's thermal sensor was pulling the unit into sleep mode....
