If I read the article correctly, they had them for 8 years already but toddlers and dogs can be trouble. Some see them as a threat /disruption to the pack and toddlers will grab or hold on without understanding what they are doing and the dog may react.

Sad story.

Nothing wrong but the ocassional canine double murder of toddlers. Dogs maybe man's best friend but in the case of pit bulls they sure as hell are not toddlers best friends.
