The biggest disgrace that hit out society was that wannabe dog whisperer, Cesar that appeared on our tv's. After that it was so funny listening to every second dumbass talking about packs and pack leader, as if he is now some dog expert because he watched three episodes of highly edited made for tv entertainment.
I mean old Cesar will never on tv say a dog is a problem let's kill it. Now the dumbasses think every dangerous dog just need some of the dumbass's tv training knowledge and nothing can go wrong.

Why stop at dogs? If people cannot use common sense, let's start by banning alcohol too. Alcohol has a massive detrimental impact on society that is very largely ignored.
As a person who's liver is on the verge of catastrophic failure due to alcohol abuse you don't have to preach to me about the evils of the vine. I don't know if society ignores it but I can assure you my kidney stones make it impossible for me to ignore.

Every drop of blood in my urine is a painful reminder to me that booze is by far the worst drug humanity has ever made. If you start a petition to bring prohibition to this country I would be glad to sign it.

Our laws can bring the dead 3rd parties back? Of course not, that is why some things need to preventative laws
In no case of accidental or negligent compiled homicide can anyone bring the 3rd party back, we have laws to deal with the guilty party.

Pitbulls don't kill the most people or even an significant amount of people really compared to other random stuff. So now we are back at a quasi pragmatic view of ban things that make people feel emotional. It's not a good argument.

Is two thirds not a significant amount according to you? How many people have to die before you admit these dogs have no right to exist? How many?

I know men who were told by social workers that the mere smell of a joint is enough to have all parental rights revoked but somehow a woman with a pitbull does not raise any red flags from social workers.
What is the percentage of all the pitbulls that kill or maime people? Probably 0.000001%

My liver was trained by the military to withstand copious amounts of alcohol in my youth. I could still handle it in my 30's. Come mid 40's I slowed down. Never had a liver nor kidney problem.

And I have two Dobermans as family. The loveliest friendliest and most protective dogs you can find.

Pitbulls kills roughly the same amount of people as TVs. Pitbulls killed 34 people in the USA is some random year. https://www.animals24-7.org/2020/01/04/pit-bulls-killed-33-of-46-u-s-victims-of-fatal-dog-attacks-in-2019/#:~:text=Pit bulls and pit mixes killed 33 of,suffered disfigurements, while 146 escaped with lesse

And falling TVs killed 29 mostly kids in some other random year.

A Pitbull is about as dangerous as a TV.

Even I fell for the drama, I expected it to be more.

I rented a granny flat where the owners has 6. I shat myself on day 1 (pictures of resident evil in my head). Day 2 I was fine. I lived there for 7 years. Awesome dogs.

My life is back on track nearly two years sober. Decent enough job. Life is better now than many years before. Thanks for asking.

The thing is just these children died because of the mothers bad choices. If my liver fails or I go on dialysis all of the bad choice that led up to that was ones I made of my own free will. If you bring a dangerous animal into a house other people may die because of your choice and that is absolutely unforgivable.

Clearly, they don't make alkies like they used to. To be fair the copious amounts of braaivleis I used to eat with gay abandon. The fact that the coffee I used to drink in a day had a collective 15 teaspoons of sugar in it. My love for painkillers and the occasional line of coke probably all had there role in my livers demise.

Oh, I was never an alkie. It was recreational and I could stop at any time. I still have my occasional whisky tipple. And my dogs sit with me while I have my tipple.

Well. Have to test for rabies oh and yes it's not the animals fault. Animals will be animals because they ARE animals

If you get a "pitbull" then raise it to be docile also neuter it if it's a male they are highly territorial with a huge amount of testosterone.

And don't be a dumbass and let a 5 Month old baby go by your "pitbull". Dogs work on a hierarchy your children are not the boss of the territory until they big enough to muscle the dog down.

I have an am staff they like to play rough.

This is why if you have strong killer dogs and small children, you don't the dogs on your bed or on the couch, the kids go there, the dog gets the message.
