can't do much coming in at no 7 as wicketkeeper when your best run was as an opener.

Did Gillchrist get to start in his fav opening spot in the aus odi team...Nope he first made runs as a nr6/7. Van Wyk simply never lived upto expectations at the next level. Same goes for the likes of rudolph, mckenzie and dippenaar. Some just aren't good enough for the highest level.

Shocking is all I have to say. We must check with their coach that Piet Botha character.
reply received...
Official word is they used Ingram as keeper to create an extra bowling spot. They were worried there wasn't enough experience in the bowling attack if they played Dyili as a keeper-batsman. The word on Theron, which was given to us last week when the team was announced for this past weekend, is that he had been battling on and off with a troublesome knee for some time. That injury reared its head in his bowling spell against Gauteng for EP and he had some inflammation which ruled him out of selection for the Lions match.

How surprising, its raining again in Durban.

What a knock from McKenzie though.

Dolphins are 1/1 after 1 Over, target is 228. (D/L Method)

So is that dolphins score like a partnership record?

Van Wyk & Delport are the 2nd pair to bat through all 50 overs in List A game after Ghulam Ali and Sohail Jaffar 326* PIA v ADBP in 2001

World record List A partnership for any wkt: 367* M van Wyk & C Delport. Was 331 Tendulkar/Dravid Ind v NZ Hyderabad 1999

Dolphins v Knights is the first List A limited overs match with three individual scores over 150.

Dolphins v Knights is the first List A limited overs match with two partnerships over 250

Highest List A scores for a team batting 2nd and losing: 189* J Benning Surrey v Glos at Bristol 2006, 181 R Hendricks
