I ordered two Q50 kids GPS watches for my kids. https://www.takealot.com/q50-kids-gps-tracker-smart-watch-blue/PLID44158686
These watches connect via a cellular sim.
But I understand it will be a schlep to monitor the airtime (and data?) balances on the two new sims that I will have to buy for these watches.

Does any of the South African cellular providers have a way to monitor sim usage/airtime from an external device without having to take the sim out and insert into a phone to check via the normal methods?

This will guide me as to which sims I will eventually get.

Ahh ok. Thanks for the help. I just noticed that FNB connect also supports airtime management etc via their app. And since I already bank with them and have my own sim with them it's a no brainer.

You can use Axxess as well, will be able to monitor it from the Portal. They use MTN btw. The data is very cheap.

All the networks have web portals to monitor balances and recharge or load bundles.
