Good grief! That A3 and bakkie were cut in half!!! They must have been going really fast. Any idea what happened?

...and this is significant, how? Other than indulging a ghoulish fascination with others' suffering?

Maybe statistical value ?

I would also like to know if anyone survived that, if so from which car.

Well I'd say "all" looking at the pics but it would nice to know some people got out okay (survived) , or whats the status.

so that I know how many families are involved should I wish to say a prayer for them during this time of their suffering and loss. And also to hopefully know that some survived this awful crash.

I find your response more "ghoulish" than my original request. :(

Message is that high speed and oncoming traffic are bad. Also probably most important,
a German sedan won't save you.

I just find it odd how people driving Bakkies lose it when they have a blow out .

I'm guessing nobody walked away from that. Looks like it was the bakkie's fault but who knows, thats one of the worst I've seen..

Yeah. Apart from obviously caring, to pretend that one has no interest in what happens to people within your own communities in major incidents that involve the public (and thus potentially people one knows - I am currently living very nearby as do friends/relatives) is disturbing and weird and absurd. Additionally what's happening around us is of valid interest 'by definition' because it "could've been oneself" and could be next time; optionally this allows us to modify our behaviour to minimise our exposure to risks within our areas. This is just logical.

Scary. Glad I missed it. Went past an accident on the M5 that cause at least 1km of backup toward Milnerton.
