Monthly Bond and Car costs

Who in their right mind spends more on their car than their home??!
Waitaminit.... many fellow Capetonians comes to mind... always needs the newest and flashiest cars, but yet they stay in Mitchelsplain or Bonteheuwel... LOL.

That is not unique to Cape Town... its a phenomenon that is very prevalent in all of South Africa...

Drive into any rural area, or township and you will see guys living in an RDP house or a shack, yet driving a brand spanking new Merc or BMW.

I have a colleague who drives a 2011 M3 and lives in Gugulethu. Now that's YOLO lifestyle! :D
