Monthly increase during contract period. Who did not?

Vodacom was one of the SPs that decided to increase the monthly premium of their monthly contracts in the middle of the contract period. I am sure there was another SP that did the same. Who did not do that?

Why I am asking, I want to move from Vodacom because of this. I don't want to go to another SP that did the same. So who is left as options?

Cellc did it first then vodacom.
Frankly a contract is a bad idea as it seems SA businesses lack ethics these days so whereever you go is just as bad as the next.

As I mentioned in another thread, mine was increased 2 months before upgrade due. Total of R60 increase for the 2 months. I emailed then and said they should reconsider, and if they went ahead, I will move to another SP. 3 Contracts due for upgrade end of June. They were prepared to lose 3 contracts worth maybe R3k/month over R30/month x 2. They did not even care to respond to my email, so it means they don't value me as a customer. Time to move methinks

Hey bud, no one likes increases, but keep in mind, the fine print - which you signed - whether you read it or not, allows them to increase the tariff at any time...and they have not done it that many times in the past few years. And sorry to say but R3k/month might be a lot of money for you, but to them it is not - they sign up more new customers than losing existing ones.

they should give the option of keeping the monthly amount the same but reduce the benefits, so reduce their bundled data by 10% instead of increasing the tarrif by 10%.

The same nonsence. Stick with your rights.

Telkom mobile have not upped prices during period that I know of, and I've been enjoying 20 gig @ 199 for a few years now as a result of this.
