Same as yesterday loadshedding was scheduled from 14 to 18:30 but wasn't invoked. Happens more often then not here.
City Power Johannesburg does a pretty good job in managing the crisis. They are actually managing the problem and not just implementing it like most others seem to do.

Yes it is irritating atypical but it is the facts which count and in this case the simple question "on or off?" decides. As the answer is "it is mostly on when it would be ESKOM scheduled off" they are doing an undenyable good job, far better then most others.
And smart meters employed to limit load is a crutch for sure but better walking a crutch then not walk at all, or not?
Most here just want enough electricity to have some basic needs covered, mostly internet and TV. It is basically a small genny or big UPS from the grid. Whats wrong with this? Sounds like a good idea, better then ppl burning diesel and alone the noise, I could go and shoot generators every time they all start running. Like grassmowing in the night, 5 people neighbors the same time. Horrible nuisance.....
