The photos & video of the perp came very quickly, the victims not much later. The running joke on cnn YT channel wrt the story started early even after photos appeared elsewhere.

That said I don't know the guys motives, that will all come out at the trial so I'll reserve judgement on the case.

The motive is clear. You don't drive down a street, through barriers, into a parade if your intent was not to kill people. If his intent was not to kill, he would have chosen another street where there were no people and no barriers. Plenty of empty streets around.

He wanted to kill just like any other terrorist who drives into a crowd of people. Don't know why this case is any different for some reason. Hell there are even those who call it an accident.
