The general history education in the US, is not great. This fact was indicative of this, where the majority of millennials don't know what Auschwitz is -

So with this news, no surprise really. But, at least the majority of millennials do not approve of Communism.
You mean to say -- the VAST amounts of time / effort / money / hunting -- "bogey-men" / holocaust museums in just about EVERY city in the World
Has paid out so FEW dividends ?

Did "they" ask about -- APARTHEID ? ( the other -- crime against humanity )
When will this one fade away into obscurity ?

Send them to China or North Korea.
Soon they will cry about the restrictions on insta selfies or find out what chicken knee soup is.
And a banana republic is a good example of capitalism at work. Personal freedom, at least for the peasants, is not necessary in a capitalist state.

Anyway I thought China was booming.

Millennial Wishes There Were Some Historical Examples Of Socialism We Could Study To Have Some Idea How It Might Turn Out

PORTLAND, OR—Local socialist millennial man Matthew Hatter lamented Monday that there are no concrete examples of socialism he can point to in order to have some kind of idea how it would turn out.
"If only there were other countries that have tried socialism before," Hatter said to a friend at an ethical coffee shop, Commiebrews, Monday afternoon, after he finished his paper route. "Then, we could see if there are any pitfalls."

Hatter said it'd be nice if there were books that covered things like world history and economics that we could read. If that were the case, Hatter said, we could abandon socialism if it looked dangerous or proceed with socialism if every country that implemented it were incredibly successful.

"Like, say some countries in South America tried socialism before and everybody starved to death," he said. "Or if there were major superpowers who implemented socialism and then, like, 100 million people died---that would be really bad. We could look to these 'books of history' and decide that wouldn't be the route for us."

"Alas, sadly, this isn't the case, so the country will just have to be pioneers and try socialism to see what it's like."

Hatter said he's just glad that if socialism turns out to be terrible, no other country would be dumb enough to follow in our footsteps.

...an outdated ideology (Communism) ...
Socialist idea however will continue to persist and grow
Communism or socialism? There's a distinction.
Nope, thats flat out incorrect. There are big differences between Soviet Union style communism and Bernie Sanders style socialism.
... i only said that communism and socialism are different.

"The goal of socialism is communism." - Vladimir Lenin

You didnt provide any context.
Do you even know what quote mining is, or do you just randomly throw stuff at the wall and see what sticks?
I will reiterate : for your argument of quote mining to hold any water, you will have to demonstrate to me where I took quotes out of context.

You are the one that who is randomly throwing stuff against the wall and seeing what sicks. If its quotes without context or link dropping to a point im not making, now you're whining when its done back?

I will say again, Lenin believed communism was the end game/goal. He thought everything should lead to communism. Does that make everything thats not communist actually communist? No, how stupid. So unless you want to actually show me how all forms of socialism = communism then i might as well start ignoring you.

P.S - Its not so rather just stop trying.

Lol wat? Dude you are delusional. Link drop or not, you are doing exactly what is stated in there. You are making an argument against what he said based on your assumption of the person's (Lenin) beliefs and thoughts. And now you want to challenge someone to prove a quote he posted. And the fact that you believe the proof should be that socialism= communism doesn't even make sense in the context of the quote. Your current deflection is so obvious and sad.
