Au contraire, they're fantastic! I just wanted to give a tip - boil them beforehand. It makes them braai better without drying them out, meaning they're still juicy when you get around to them on your plate.
You misunderstand me sir... They are fantastic... But HO occasionally whines about being healthy... And these are the best option.

Mushrooms stuffed with feta and cheese and garlic along with mielies is so good on the braai

Potatoes straight on the fire as well is very good

My word! The Wind, she is cold, breezing in off the nearby South Atlantic, flags above the store flapping vigorously ........ a feeling of impending winter doom approaching AND all I feel like doing, Is opening a few cold cans.....

/Moose thinks he might have a problem.......:X3:

I have been doing it for years

Durban mielies the white mielie is the best

This sweetcorn is good not the best though

but must be burnt nicely
Sincerely doubt they’re “Durban” mielies
Get them a dime a dozen at quite a few intersections in Centurion
And yes, it is a lot better than sweet corn

Off to work this Saturday morning..... :X3:

Had as hankering for a song, Yes! I know it was released in 2005, but man, when I watch it, I am thrown back to 1984 or thereabouts....... Have a fine feeling that my Saturday afternoon might ignite....
