Right! There I was about to give up the festivities from Christmas, with this past Sabbath being my last when I got the news down the wire,



After three years of driving FirstBornMoose and MiddleBornMoose to their respective educational institutions in the good ol' Republic, the final results came in with MiddleBornMoose achieving four distinctions in her final year and her sister getting her degree in Forensic Accounting..... This makes all the effort that we as parents put into our children's futures worth it.....



So this evening, I get to go over the road to the club for a braai and celebrations,but she has declined, claiming that the tennis on the telly is way more important, so this will be my last couple of toots with my sabbatical starting in the morn....... Tonight we braai like Kings......



Love these summertime mideweek cremations....Long may they last.....

It's paella.....seafood, chorizo, rice, spices etc.
I follow a basic recipe and just adjust with what I have to chuck in.

Vuurtjie started to heat up leftovers and serve with a sweet chilli garlic broodjie for brunch.

09H00 - 14H00, our Fast Foods makes a mean Portuguese Chicken dish, spicy .... So I took two packets of fresh chicken to them first thing and going to soak the flightless bird pieces in the sauce and braai them around 17h00 with mielies, so fire all the way....

Two bags, two birds in pieces, shattered beyond ever being put back together again, the one on the left in a sweet and sticky BarbieQ type marinade, this is for the lad,
The one on the right, Fresh Cream, Fresh Red Chillies, Pedro's Hot Portuguese Sauce and a wee bit o' added herbs, flames are on, lets do this...
