Tomorrow I will have meat again.

I am thinking of making a moussaka or lasagna.

With Pinotage.

Quick question to the Weber gods :) Still have a old 57" standing around somewhere , but it's all rusted up, etc. Haven't used it in years, prefer my wood and open grill :) Was thinking of either the SmokeyJoe or Go-Anywhere for those quick steaks or whatever. Maybe chicken under the lid.. who knows ... Any preferences ? If the post is too OT for this thread, shout and I'll repost it somewhere else :)

I doubt it's a 57", but if it is, I'd love to take it off your hands if you're going to toss it!

Even if the vents are rusted, you can still use it as a base until you need to chuck it away.

Still got the pieces? I put this together today from stuff I had lying around the garden. I did buy a new 57cm weber grid for it.

Looks so small... wonder if I can fit 3 T-Bones on there :) Will do a bit of investigation... have seen it before, but only awarded it a passing glance :D Any experience with it ?

Have only heard good things about it.
Just think it's a better option than something like a Smokey Joe. You can fit a whole chicken in there so it's not that small. Don't own one yet... but it will be my next braai gadget

I have one, bought it about 20 years ago, the first ones with a plastic base. It's more of an oven than a braai but saying that it does chicken really well, especially spatchcocks. And only uses about 9 briquettes per cook. The only thing is cleaning it is rather a pain in the ass as the drippings get burned on pretty well. Accessories for them are a little pricey but would buy another one in a heartbeat.

Yip, I think 2 accessories is mandatory... The roasting rack and the griddle
