What can I braai today? Recently did lamb, chicken, potjie. Looking for something different, not really sure what Im in the mood for.

Please no real salad or real vegetables.
If you have a weber etc try roasting a pork belly in it.
You need to slow roast it then give the skin some high even heat at the end to get the nice airy crackling.
Do it in a tray with garlic apple cider vinegar and herbs etc.
Also roast some green apples with sugar, butter and water in a tray for the apple sauce, basically caramel apples that you discard the skin and mush them up.

Thanks but I only have braai facilities, no weber etc. Just a wood fire braai.

Cheese grillers from Food lovers. Probably the nicest ones I've had in a while. Don't bother with any cheap pre marinated meat from them though.

Pre-marinated meat is always questionable, very near best before or just over and they are camouflaging the slight smell.

Indeed, only marinated meat I would buy out there is sosaties.

But @The_Mowgs liefie bought the meat so his not to blame.
Yeah I will spank her naughty bottom tonight! But sht the amount of spice on that meat would put India to shame! I think I actually need to wash it before throwing it away.

Cheese grillers and sosaties were top shelf!!

Yip, I think 2 accessories is mandatory... The roasting rack and the griddle
Having looked at all the options and the costs, I'm rather going to gift the old Weber to my brother (he's got the skills and the time to restore it :)) and go for the 57 MasterTouch Then I'm sorted again on all fronts, between this and my open braai. I can see anything smaller is just going to irritate me
