Karoo is better and if you're in Glen Hills then it's very very close to you.

Had to drive back to accom in the middle of the day and there it was, a mere 110m from accom..... Will make a turn there b4 leaving on Sunday for the two day trip back to Nam, really hoping I can find something of interest to take back with me...

Thanks for alll the input Durbanites! :D

Oh! This big round overwight old geezer did all the rides at Ushaka with the youn un' s including that tall red water slide, hell I would love to do that again with a can of beer in eaxh of my paws....

As for the tour, The Moose watching in amusement as cabin fever takes hold, with the Mama's starting to bitch fight with eaxh other, that's why I left mine at home.... :crylaugh:

I don't know where you are but I can vouch for Karoo Kitchen.
175 uMhlanga Rocks Drive

So yesterday I got one of the backup vehicles to drop me at KarooKitchen and can safely report back that Yes! Indeed this is the place where I will be purchasing deceased beasts, I was impressed, Steaks as far as the eye could see and a nice selection of wors/sausages..... I do feel they could have stocked more value added lines and the variety of dried meats is good...i saw a cabanossi type sausage that I would like to have tried, but being on a tight shedule had to depart empty handed as all the suburban white folk were spending their hard earned white monopoly captital and I could not push through to the counter..

I hope to return, but need to see what our plans are...I still have ten packets of wors that I brought with from Namibia.........

In conclusion I believe the members of this here esteemed of all braai threads would spend their ill gotten gains at this hilltop establishment.... :p
