Is that the koffie spice? Was planning the same thing for tonight on a nice piece of T-been.

Jip. it's going to be interesting.

Today's braai will be heat and eat. Nothing gets served in a dish together. Steak done, eat it. Rashers done. Eat it. etc etc

Looks very lekker. Had to postpone my coffee T-bone until tomorrow night due to Sunday family lunch festivities with way too much food. Will post picks then.

T-bone with that coffee spice tonight. With some sosaties for the fam, and a tinfoil parcel with cinnamon and butter sweet potato wedges.

Boerwors I got from my neighbour, he makes this himself after hunting down some kudu in Moose's part of the world on the other side of the border. Amazing stuff with some added Namibian sheep tail fat. Real homemade boerwors. Delicious.

Was the coffee steak good?
Very nice. The chilli and smoked paprika in the spice mixture together with the coffee adds a nice smoky spicyness. Not something I will use everytime as it can overpower the flavour of the steak, but a nice variation.

It was good, but it wasn't the taste explosion i was hoping for

Agreed, it actually made the fillet part of the T-bone taste worthwhile. If I ever get gifted a fillet and forced to braai it, it'll be spiced with this again.
For other steak cuts, once in a blue moon.
