Nee dankie, he had his chilli sauce recipe made with real ingredients in his braai books. Now he wants to sell it in supermarkets with added msg, stabilizers and other kak. Not interested.

Pick n Pay did a similar sample kit for Xmas but with just 12 different Brandy's. So hardly Jan Braais idea.

I'd go for it but the Gin would be wasted on me. Cannot handle Gin. Would drink anything else. Even the Soweto Gold kak.

To take one example. That Groot Constantia Brandy sells for R1000 for 500ml. So R2 a ml. 40ml sample should be R80 theoretically, but the average per sample is R25. Sure some are worth less but yah.

I too didn't enjoy the tin version that I noticed you have tried.
Give the bottled version a try if you can find it in your area, I honestly find it very similar to Black Label.
None of the franchises seem to stock it though, you have to find the dodgy bottle stores aimed at the labourers it seems.
