Yeah im also trying to figure out the weekly menu

I have chicken in the fridge that i need to cook so tonight is chicken with homemade mushroom sauce so far

@Sir Bob How did you season that skillet ? I'm looking at getting one, but the enamel one.

How did you season that skillet

I have tried a few methods
1) light coating in oil then in the oven for about an hour.
2) I got a piece of beef fat from my butcher and melted it on the stove top then in the oven for about an hour.
For both those methods it smoked out my flat so I had to stop before it properly sealed.

Last night I did a light coat of canola oil and left it on the braai for a couple hours.
That is the method I would suggest.
