Cleaned the steel with thinners and used high heat spray paint. Still holds after a couple of fires.

This Morning, we returned to the Orange River Wetlands to walk the mutt...... Magic spot, only one other person to be seen and we know them quite well



The wildlife abound, Jakkals, Gemsboks, Springbok and even wild cows and horses..... but this morning, the Flamingo Flock that flew past was stunning, the sound of all their wings working in unison was something to behold....


The contrast of the desolate Namib as the barren background to this unique Wetland, how blessed I am to live here....



The only other car to be seen is a mate of mine and his wife, he is due for retirement and has a house down in Stilbaai, but has purchased his house up here from the mine as he and his missus enjoy the wilderness of the Southern Namib
