Eish my Sunday braai was a bit late in the dark. Forgot the ribs takes 2 1/2 hours. Pork ribs Rump and garlic bread.

Yeah, I don't do fish with little bones. Way too much work.

we usually get the fresh sardines when its the sardine run and fry them in a pan

must be crispy so you end up eating most of the smaller bones ..just the centre bone gets left behind

Other half purchased from a neighbour, he made it himself, not sure why he doesn't make and sell them, it's great.

These were supposedly fresh from the sardine run, but of course they've been in the freezer for a bit.

Either way, I think I just have a mental block to fish bones, regardless of how soft they are.
