I had the same, won in golf day. After looking I realized it wasn't me or the SA way.
Gay it away.

I use these... (and my fingers!)

Was given to me about 3 years ago... never used it!!
Also have similar, no clue where the rest of the set and the case is, but mine had a damn good set of tongs in. Still use them to this day.

Morning All!

Ouch! I vaguely recall talking to my Uncle in Glasgow sometime during the wee hours, he was more pissed than I was.....

/Moose wonders how much Moola his phonebill gonne be.... :erm:

As for today...... Off for my swim in thirty...... I see all our clocks in the house have changed back to normal time as Namibia leaves Daylight savings time alone for the next 6 months....

Gonna make giant hamburgers on Weber for dinner today....

You all enjoy your Sunday!

Don't forget to post the "cooked" photo!

There ain't much that makes the Moose cancel a braai, but a Sandstorm ain't conducive to a good fire...

I was down at the beach with the lads exploring and conquering the world, when suddenly, the wind swung and all hell broke loose as a sandstorm approached....

Salt (Small).jpeg

Had to drive home with hazards blinking as the curtain came down...

Sandstorm approaching (Small).jpeg

Thought about cooking on the Weber in the kitchen, But the HO ain't having none of it.....

Pan fried burgers coming up!

:whistling:

I always find this annoying as to how many retail outlets in SA slice their pork belly so thin, you might as well take a packet of bacon and lob it on yon coals....

On a passing note for fellow gout sufferers, those there brown flat mushrooms are a very high source of purine and should be avoided....

These are rashers, some people prefer the thin ones and make them crispy on the fire. I'm with you though, prefer the thicker ones. I just grabbed these when I was buying sausages.

Now if only I could find some decent meaty ribs...

Pork rasher is meant to be a snack before the main meal to keep the wives from shouting "Hoe vêr is die vuur!?" and me going, in my most serious voice, "Omtrent 5 meter van jou af!". Best served with Aromat

@Randhir,

Those Mushrooms, is there garlic in with the cheese also? I use to make them before I traced my gout back to them and I would put butter and lemon juice with them..... awesome flavours....
