Thanks for the welcome.

It may be contained in the other 300 odd pages of this thread that I haven't got to yet, but I have not see a Greek braai machine yet ... a Souvla ..

Us Dutchmen think we've got the braaiíng thing covered, when in fact the Greeks are way ahead of us ..

Planning one for tomorrow night .. Paprika Pork, Lamb, chicken and some wors for good measure ..

This was one from a couple of weeks back

Similar concept.
Has a small motor that spins the skewers. Turns much faster than a spit braai though.
The trick is that the fat and oil doesn't drip into the coals causing flame ups and smoke, because it's turning just fast enough that it stays on the meat, continuously coating the meat with every turn.
The end result is delicious crispy on the outside, with juicy tasty inside - stays moist
Pull it off, drizzle in fresh Lemon Juice and Oregano ..

Paid about 2.5k a couple of years ago. Comes with a whole lot of other attachments so that you can use it as a conventional braai, and smaller skewers. The rechargeable motor is about 800 Zars on its own.

My bikes ... Nooooo .. Need to ride those so that I can drink beer and braai :D

Moose don't ask silly questions. I suspect it's going to be one hell of a game
