Stumbled across this thread a few days ago and have been entertained ever since. I've sped read through the first 130 odd pages and there is still shyte loads to go !

Us Dutchmen think we've got the braaiíng thing covered, when in fact the Greeks are way ahead of us ..
Planning one for tomorrow night .. Paprika Pork, Lamb, chicken and some wors for good measure ..

Has a small motor that spins the skewers. Turns much faster than a spit braai though.
The trick is that the fat and oil doesn't drip into the coals causing flame ups and smoke, because it's turning just fast enough that it stays on the meat, continuously coating the meat with every turn.
The end result is delicious crispy on the outside, with juicy tasty inside - stays moist
Pull it off, drizzle in fresh Lemon Juice and Oregano ..
