As I lay here alone in me bed, I try tomake sense of where I had been last night,

I recall vaguely talkimg to two jakkals outside the local Masonic temple out in the desert sometime in the afternoon...

I recall drinking down out the Argentine's restaurant near the riding club,

I recall offering to take a Capetonian visitor back to his flat as he was falling all over the place...

I recall lnding up at the Friday Night lights at the Cricket Club and not having to buy a beer as everyone else wanted to buy me beers..

From there it's a blur.....

And today?
Well today I am braaing for 15 people down at the Masonic Temple..... This is not gonna end well....

Quick question... I prefer to braai with wood, but as a rule that's for the planned stuff :) Everynow and then I feel like doing some steaks or just a quick braai , but without the time-consuming part associated with a wood fire. So normally I would use the charcoal Weber Kettle, but this is also now on its very last legs. Been toying with the gas braai idea, but wife isn't to keen on gas due to an unfortunate incident years ago. So I've been looking at the Weber Q-2400 electric braai as a replacement, seeing that Takealot have them on special

Any comments ?
