nee man.

if i have another roast or whatever that someone has smeared with mayo i'll literally schit my pants. it's all the in-laws know

The mayo just adds a tang to it,hence only one spoon to two parts apricot.

But it's mostly a recipe for oven chicken, but works well for the weber too.

Just checking in right now.... 22H13....namibian Bush time....

(This is so I can goback on Thursday to see what time I returned home...)

The evening is befok! Bright stars, Venus/mars sinking in the far west towards Argentina.,..... the braai tonight.....awesome/...

Played 8 ends of bowls against my ex gardener, who whipped my arse, 9:3 , a natural, who I believe will go on to represent Nam in Commonwealth games.....

I am in two frames of mind to spring into yon Porty pool i, lay beneath the star studded night and consider how lucky I might be....
or

Jump into bed next to the English HO singing a tune , 'Let's talk about sex baby, let's talk...."

/Moose undresses and heads out into the dark, but quiet night, knowing he made the right choice....

Ta Muchly! Think it;s due to the fact that I have too much time on my hand living in the middle of nowhere........

I was scrolling through my drunken snaps that I had on my electronic telephonic device and found two more snaps from the awesome braai/party I hosted on Sunday.... the one where the English HO almost divorced me...

A wee bit of meat.jpg

A small portion of the meat...

How long did you cook the sole for?

How did it turn out?

I am going to he receiving a couple of salmon steaks in the coming day and was wondering if the Legless Weber might be the way to go.....

Sole was done same time as the prawns. 2-3 minutes on each side. Prawns direct heat, sole indirect heat. Brushed with lemon garlic butter before and on the turn. Mostly with lid closed.

First time I tried sole on the braai. Pleasantly surprised, was delicious.

Seem's that most seafood on the coals go with garlic butter.... The fruit of my loins enjoy prawns on the Barbie (neighbour's hot daughter ;) ) , so will chuck a few on the coals..... wondering if there would be a huge difference between using a fresh lemon or bottled stuff.....

My eyes.... why is there a beer ON the braai ????

It's how we roll up here in the desert.......
Do you recall when you were learning to suip at the tender age of 13, er sorry that was me, when you were 18.5 and you would choose Carling Black Label as the brand only coz' it made you gesuiped quicker due to it's heavier alc content? And then you heard that if you drank your beer through a straw it would get you drunk even quicker....

.... Well then we learnt if you made a beer warm and drank it through a straw, you could get stukkend masepuss dronk on two bottles.....

:wtf:

In retrospect, the beer is on the braai due the fact that I usually walk around with two bottles at a time (fact, all the local pubs serve me a double beer) and found that it was difficult to take a photo with no hands..... :D
