tis' way too early in the weekend for that..... only on me third Tafel, awaiting the imminent arrival of HO from the Spar, we can only hope and pray that she has had a fine day, for then there shall be much merriment in the Moose Cave this weekend, if not, there shall be much wailing and gnashing of teeth!

Here's an interesting one. According to Heston Blumenthal, take the steak out of the packaging and leave in the fridge on rack over a plate for two days to air dry it. Salt only and then cook to preferred level turning every 15 seconds.

Mrs Spizz and number one son did this last weekend before I came home and they said it was the best steak they have ever had.

Here's tonight's rump. 35 days aged from Woolies...
