Whilst we are gesuiped on this fine friday evening, hurling abuse at our fellow forumnites..... As Cat Steven Sings..... The first cut is the deepest, all in jest folks, yes! Sure you have your position, your morals and your obligations, stand by it..... That is what makes you..... You........ I enjoy this forum ..... Like the virtual family..... I never had.... And will lways respect your point of view, even if I do concur.....

Anyhoooooo.... Meat eaters.... We have mixed smoked potjie pot on the go 2morrow....... Dead swine and massacred carrots..... Graphic images... As the Black Watch pipe The Dark Isle.....

I realised this about 37.45minutes ago, but tjhen I live in the middle of the desrt with no friends, so I thoughtnit would be wise to entertain.... :)

I am currently sitting once again alone..... By my braai... With nobody to invite, dreaming about my fav pub, Berties in Gordons bay...... Where, god willing I shall be , two weeks from now...

Right! Let's carry on with this weekend shall we?...... Wide awake 06h12 this fine Namibian morn, No HO next to me, oooh boy! What did I do last night? No fear, I am sure she will inform in about 72 hours from now....... This is what I enjoy about Nam beer, you can drink mountains of the brew and feel as strong as an ox in the morn...... As long as you do not mix or take a single shooter, you shall be fine......

Asked HO if she felt like swimming a few lengths this morn......mumble grumble.....rolling eyes......so I assume that is a no.....

Next question, I have lumps of smoked pork in the fridge, I have soup mix, soup powder, red onions and was thinking of either using my potjie today or the slow cooker..... Still deciding...

Slow cooker makes it a breeze, freeing me up to chill, the potjie cannot be lit without a beer or two, a potjie fire needs attention, it creates atmosphere..... There shall be fallout, name slinging......

I have a serious choice to make, life changing....pray for me, hold thumbs....slow cooker or potjie?

A stroll round the market his morning, Hermanus wine festival this afternoon followed by the world's best ribs at B's steakhouse this evening.

And the best thing is, number one son passed his driving test last month so we've got taxi rides everywhere :D

I am banned from wearing a Speedo, you cannot see the damn thing as my belly hangs over it and then most folk think I be naked...

Spizz, do you ever shop in the local Spar? If so which one?

On another note, something is not right again, I shall never understand HO, we went swimming, think I got a lecture somewhere, and now she went to TOPS to buy me more beer...... :wtf: I never asked, I still have 21 bottles in the fridge.... why would she buy me more?

Going to Badminton in 20 minutes.... All three my kids and myself are playing in the parent kid tournament, game for a laugh.....

No potjie, Slow Cooker bubbling away, pity, but then we all know who wears the Kilt in the Hoose!
