I cannot compete tonight, but wait until tomorrow, Sundays always rock north of the border....

Be prepared, that due to the pain in my knee, I might not sleep tonight, and I happen to know that I might find two smoked pork fillets in me fridge, thinking of a midnight lemon and pork panfry with a dash of pain killers.... Oh! Yeah! Who's yer daddy?

Once weather clears up in Cape Town will do a proper braai again and post pictures. Haven't really made an effort to cook something decent in a while.

@Morty get well with that knee as looking forward to tomorrows updates.

Sits here with red wine listening to Abba ;)

Here's some stand-up comedy to hopefully make you forget about the pain for a couple of minutes at least.

Old, but still good (sound clip).

Been awake most of the night, hanging out on The Who's Still Awake thread, nice niteshift thing the forum has going on here....

Pain in my knee only when I am lyong down, painkillers are immune to this chemically saturated body of mine.....

My supper was shirt last nite, I place all the blame with Eskom, seeing as they supplied the power to my Slow Cooker, gave 70% to Shadow The Ferocious...... Let that be a lesson never to doubt the power of a raw flame again....

Had me a famous, Morty Mega Fourway Revival Brekkie to reenergise my limbs and soul....

image.jpg

Finished spicing the two flightless birds that I plan to smoke in me trusty Eskom free Weber ..... Planning to serve this meal with Mortymoose's Famous Oven Baked Potato wedges and a new recipe From Mrs.Paarman, Butternut Fritters.....

Let's hope that I can suip this pain stukkend out of my knee....

;)

Rest, keep weight off the leg as much as possible.
Ice, reduces blood flow and helps with pain. At least 15 minutes each time.
Compression, bandage to limit movement and prevent further ligament damage.
Elevation, slows down blood flow to knee...

Been there!

I was thinking more along the lines of ,

B.E.E.R.
Beer,Keep beer in the boep as much as possible.
EER, British slang word, to be used in HO! Come 'EER and bring me a beer,At least 15 minutes each time.
......

I jest, thanks for the advice, I can walk on the knee no problems, no pain, just cant twist or lie down, then it starts to throb...

HO went to Spar, wonder if she feels so sorry for me, that she purchases more beer for me?
