Tomorrow, is a public holiday up here, finish work at 13h00, not too sure if I should do a Weber lamb ala' Spizz or Something on the Rotisserie , the weather looks bad, maybe push the boundaries and trash HO's kitchen indoors rather....

Nothing fancy, one of those boxed LK branded one's,actually have two, as I inherited my father's one a few years back, but in all honesty with my drunken antics, I have lost ome of the forks, burnt one of the motors in the flames,dropped second one on the cement, so I recentl purchased me a whole new kit for about R470.00, this one comes with the stainless steel chicken basket....

/The Moose awoke this crisp publc holiday morning with the tune ,You were on my mind by Crispian St.Peters ringing in his head, he was unsure what cullinary direction the day would take this afternoon.....he had to first go to work until 13hoo,whilsy browsing Facebook he noticed a photo that a good mate of his had posted in WHK last night....he was braaing....it then dawned apon this here Moose that on his recent return from the Helderberg , he had brought. A few pkts of "different meats" so I climbed into my ice box and retrieved the below two items..

Some Argentinian style sausage with a piece of genuine brisket from Patagonia(according to the smous) and a pkt of Gourmet Jagwurst that should be cooked over the coals...

HO has taken out pastry to make her pastry braai breads for the fire and I shall pick up some kebabs at work.... Think I might get me a case of that dutch beer today, seeing as it is on promo..

HO makes it with puff pastry, stuffed with grated cheese,mayo and chutney, they taste blerrie lekker also, reckon the sky is the limit with filling options..
