I had ribs last night at the world's best ribs place. Pork loin and pork Cumberland sausage for this arvo, and Mrs S is bringing a pork belly for tomorrow.

Yes, I'm heading to Saudi soon so am getting my pork intake up to carry me through the next few months :D

Did you know that airlines may not transport Stroh 80?

Dont you go into liver failure, then coma and then death if you have a sip of that? That is basically 10% away from what they use in hospitals to disinfect wounds not so? Yikes.

Man! That Roast looks lekker, as for the Cumberland, what more can I say!

I keep popping outside to see how the wind be swinging, still strong easterly of the desert, but not so much sand anymore.. temp in the low 30's, I think I might, might, might, make a one man fire as the sun set's over the great Southern Ocean to the west, just got to get through the last hour of work....

It tastes a lot better than surgical spirits... I would imagine.

Have you ever had the misfortune of tasting petrol when transferring from one vehicle to another?

If so, then thats almost EXACTLY what Stroh tastes like.

If you mix it with a fair amount of coke it tastes like rum and coke. A mate of mine enjoys it. Personally I don't need that much alcohol in my system that quickly.

Oh! Spizz, how you gonna cook that there rolled up swine then?

I was thinking of trying it with the hickory chips today because I have a notion to make the pork belly Asian style tomorrow using a Jan braai recipe that looks awesome.

I'll need to see what Mrs S brings home as she's over the mountain with access to the fancy pants artisan butchers so I might still be swayed :)

Experience takling? :D

Well I was a high student on the city streets back in the day!

The Stroh or the surgical spirits?

The purple stuff, I lost the ability to distinguish between colours many years ago..... not sure what caused it! ;)

Mmmh! Finished Pics please sir! I walked past our decimated butchery shelf, just in case I managed to light the fire this evening.... the butchery had made two of the stuffed rolls, but they looked a tad fatty for my liking....

Over the mountain to the mall?

Yep, buying a matric dress for my daughter. Nearly schit myself when I got the sms from FNB showing how much it cost :wtf:

Same here with the stuffed rolls. There were a couple knocking about but very fatty, so I was assured that she knows just the place to get one so just leave it to her.

Got a mate coming over tomorrow so need to get it net so ;)
