Right You lot, with your photo's, you have convinced me.......
I was not going to drink this weekend , (feels like I say that every Friday!), in fact I was off today, went down to the river mouth with Shadow the Ferocious, did a 5km walk down the Sandbar, saw two whales doing the job, went home, did a 1,2km swim, thought to myself, "I feel muchly healthy!" , "perhaps I should not consume booze this weekend?" ..... then the call came down the line.... my partner asked me if I would mind looking after the store between 16h00-18h00 and lock up , as he had to cater for the town's Matric Dance...... "Nae, Bother!" , replied this here Moose..... forgetting briefly that FirstbornMoose is also attending the event, as a date with a Matric youngster with whom she plays the skillful game of Badminton....... FirstBornMoose is only in Std.8 , but she is almost the same height as her mater, at 1,91m ........
So, Around 18h44, I left the Store in the capable hands of the security fella' whom I mentioned above in the diamond tale, and headed home..... to catch a glimpse of FirstBornMoose and the boyfriend.... "Holy Crap!, where have the years gone?" the Moose Mansion was vacant, I found the crowd out on the front lawn, with the diamond diver's wife hanging over the fence, five people taking pics..... and there she was, My beautiful daughter S, nobody saw me behind the crowd, in true Moose form, I shouted, "YOU THERE BOY! YOU GET YOUR HONDS (HANDS) AF (OFF) MAE(MY DAUGHTER!", the crowd gasped and turned..... then saw the Moose and burst into laughter......
So HO made me play host, I had to serve bubbly , snacks and my beer to the guests, off course the Moose had to have a beer, then another, and his third, then the car turned up to collect them, the crowd left , as I walked back to the shop to lock up, I wondered how much of my beer those bastards drank!

I glanced up as I walked, the moon smiling down on me once again, for a brief moment, I caught her smiling, knowing that today my life had reached yet another milestone.......... deep down, as tradition dictates, I knew that I would have to light the fire tonight, sit back, take a swallie and be thankful for my life!
Slanche! Okies, let the weekend games begin!
