Interesting doesn't seem to be any Huawei device on that list
Y3 had a chance for R999 together with Nokia 1 at the same price. Both running Oreo Go, which is important.
In meantime the price for Y3 increased to R1.4K, so Y3 lost the game.
For me a leader for me is Vodacom Kicka 4, also running Oreo Go (good for next 5 years), capable running Telegram or even Whatsapp which takes more resources.
