Most respected broadband provider in South Africa

Percentages is useless. Use numbers, but I guess that will look less impressive.
And what is the Average Relative Percentage for?

How did iBurst even make it to the list?

And what is the Average Relative Percentage for?
It is merely a measure of the overall score. If a company was rated top by all people, it would have been 100%. If it was rated bottom by all people it would have been 0%. Hence relative score to show how the company performed against the others in the list.

Just because Vodacom is the best wireless broadband provider doesn't mean they're any good.

Vodacom to me is the worst. Bad reception , useless customer support.

Please Rename this thread and article to "Most respected wireless broadband provider in South Africa"

From a personal point of view what worries me is that the survey is from Mybb members.:( Isn't that so?Gee, some people really don't want to be active consumers and simply take what is dished to them, whereas they can find value for their hard earned cash. What is it about the South African consumer and their blind brand loyalty?cause to me that's what it boils down to in terms of Vodacom taking the top slot.

This poll is seriously flawed. I took part in it and was one those who rated Vodacom best. It's not because I think Vodacom are good, but because I think that Cell C and MTN are WORSE. Vodacom to me are are simply the least worst of a bad bunch. 8ta have not reception in my area so how I couldn't rate them at all, but had to include them my list of best to worst. iBurst got rated last by myself simply because I have never used them and have never felt the need to. I'm not even sure what they do - Aren't they a wireless substitute for ADSL in which case they shouldn't even be in the poll, but in one comparing them to Telkom. In that case I would rate I iBurst best and Telkom worst, even though I still have never had any dealings with iBurst - I can only presume that nobody can be worse than Telkom. Bottom line is I used Vodacom for my cellphone and therefore as my 3G provider, and Comtel Wireless as my broadband provider to my home.

The problem with this survey is that we have no idea about how each of respondents interpreted "most respected broadband provider". I would think of a few pointers that may have been on the respondents minds:

1. Broadband coverage
2. Price
3. Quality of service
4. Number of subscribers on each network
5. Brand

With all our unique thoughts about the interpretation of the question, I'm not surprised with the results.

To be more clear, this list should be changed from "best" to "least kak"

You have hit the nail on the head here. There is not much choice to go by. So if one HAS to make a choice then this is what comes out the hole. Someone else also said the least worse or not the worst. Something like that
