They are doing the fibre network in Sonneveld (Brakpan) for SADV, but they are disorganised. Some of the sections have been dug up three times already. With nearly every drilling they hit services, in spite of having someone on site monitoring with ground penetrating radar. The remaining drillings they have converted to roadcuts, but do not have the wayleafs for it yet. The whole project were supposed to be done by 11 September, but they haven't finished the civils yet. The current projected date to have everything done is 11 November, but I will be very surprised if they manage to get the network up and running before year end. Not a very well managed project team and because of this they need to replant most of the grass they dug up, as you have no more than three days before the grass starts dying. Compared to Vuma doing Dalpark at the moment, they have got quite a bit to learn.
