Hi all:)

I recently saw an add on tv for the Moto Q Smartphone. I looks like a good product:) Any ideas when it will be available here?

I read a review (will try and find the link tomorrow) that said one major downside was the fact that this phone doesn't have integrated wifi:(

Don't think the Q is coming to South Africa - if it does, will be Cell C and Virgin (ha ha).

The Q 9h should be here VERY soon though - Vodacom and MTN. Awesome device!!! Yes, doesn't have wlan, but then again, how many people actually use it here? That's why we have HSDPA :p

We have WIFI internet at work (which I have successfully connected to with my supervisors wlan capable phone). Also the newer ADSL routers have wifi capabilities which you should be able to connect to via a wlan capable phone. :)

True, but who actually sits in the office and uses the internet on their phone through wifi when you can access on your PC?
In my opinion, internet on a cellphone is for when you are "out of the office" or "away from home". And with our cheap mobile data charges in SA we can easily use HSDPA ;)
