Hi there,

Anyone know anything about the release for the Motorola Z8 on vodacom contracts. I see that you can however win it currently on a competition from vodacom. But phoned a vodashop and they do not have it availabe. Any info appreciated, thanks!

lion_fish ,

I would generally not come near them, know alot off people that never ever had even one minute of pleasure with them, but heres the thing, Hi Def screen, UIQ 3 on top of Symbian, HSDPA, alot more, looks like something better and more reliable. Guess we'll have to wait and see!

I admit, the Z8 looks nice. But having had motorola's before, i refuse to touch another one. Ever.

PS: alot of new phones coming out have everything you mentioned above and more (lots more). And the best bet... they dont say motorola :D

Most of the features you've spoken of (except HSDPA) are included in the 4 Sony Ericsson UIQ3 phones, and they have the advantage of the touch screen. I use my P990i for watching video and it's brilliant, also note that it has a far larger screen than the Motorola and best of all it's not likely to break down in 6 months like every Motorola ever built. Perhaps get the P1i which is the update to the P990 being released with the networks in the next month, or else the P990 is at rock bottom prices because it's being replaced.
