I'm on 24% on the "checking for new software" screen

Edit: O btw, OC did you manage to back up all your personal data and your apps before doing the update?

I reckon everyone who has a Defy is hitting that server, the download is taking forever. Been over 40min and still only on 85%

Oh thank god...I think I found my contacts. For some reason after the upgrade they were all marked as "hidden". WTF???

Didn't you backup your contacts with Gmail?

Dont know how lol. I am a noob I guess. I use gmail for email...not a back up server thingy majiggy. :)

Luckily it left my SMS's alone so I kind of figured out the name that belongs to each message and got some numbers that way.

My contacts were intact. The only thing that disappeared were the cities in the weather forecast.

I'm liking the new Task Manager and its auto-kill feature :)

Howcome?

Ok...I have picked up a very obvious bug. The time displayed on the home screen...on the bar at the top where it shows your battery and signal does not update. Only when you go into Date/Time settings, untick 12hour format and then tick it again does it update. WTF?????? How could they miss something this obvious?
