I have. No weird behaviour to report, although I suspect the Task Manager's auto-kill function does not really work.

Have you perhaps noticed a slighty faster draining battery? Not sure if I am imagining it. Will see tomorrow after I charged it fully tonight.

Now that you mention it, it does indeed. I've been in meetings all morning and my phone has been at my desk doing nothing and now the battery is down to 50% :wtf:

MotoBlur is Motorola's custom Android User Interface, just like the HTC Sense is specific to the HTC Desire etc. It's basically the home screen and some apps and widgets, some of which replace the stock Android apps and widgets.

Was it fully charged this morning? I left my phone on charge the whole night....and when I got to work this morning it was down to 70%. What you think could be causing this?

You may need to recalbrate your battery after flashing (if it wasn't full when it flashed). That's at least the case with many other Androids...

And how you do that?

This is stressing me out big time! My battery is now on 30% and it is only 14:30 now. I would listen to the radio on my phone the whole day and get home and then it would only get to 30% at about 8 in the evening! This is a drastic reduction! *cries*

There an app on the market called Battery Calibration.

I noticed with 2.2 that it takes a very long time and battery to index your music on the SD card. I have a 16G SD card and the phone got warm after loading it with music. Every time you connect to the SD card via USB it seems to re-index the music.

I dont have music on my phone....just listen to the radio with it. But even with listening to the radio while at work my battery would last untill I go to bed that same night. Now it looks like I am not even going to make it home before it dies!

I will try and find that app. What does it do exactly? Never heard of calibrating a battery....touch screen yes...but not battery.

Common change from 2.1 to 2.2. Use something like extended controls or some other widget/app to switch between loud/silent/vibrate

2.3.4 is running nice on my MB525 ;)
Ja but not all of us are so clever as to know how to root our phones and load custom ROM. I have watched som of those vids on youtube trying to see how guys do it...and frankly it makes me dizzy. Also...I like MotoBlur....dont want to loose it. Some of those custom ROMS looks very busy to me. :)

This one has motoblur and is a moto leak rather than a custom rom. I can guide you through the process if you'd like, its pretty straight forward.
