Incredibles 2 (2018) - 7/10

The original is in my top 3 movies so the sequel had a lot to live up to -- which it didn't, sadly. It wasn't bad, obviously, I gave it 7 out of 10, but it didn't make me feel the same way after I watched it like I do when I watch the original.

Patient Zero (2018) 4/10

Natalie Dormer and Stanley Tucci in a really bad zombie apocalypse movie. Drink every time you spot a cliche...might make it less poop.

Heavy Trip (2018) 8/10

Really good...movie about an amateur metal band and their journey to a music festival. Lots of laughs and heart.

Finnish, subtitled.

Star trek into Darkness: 6/10

Effects were good, 8/10, acting was OK, but the writing just felt subpar. Overall it felt like they were trying too hard.

Skyscraper (2018) 6/10

Comes across more as a Micheal Bay film than anything else. Properly OTT & derivative. High action for a 1st time watch.

Patient Zero (2018) 5/10. Weirdly, it's not a bad movie and it has a decent cast, but I didn't get into the story until five minutes before it ended. It all felt like a very long, drawn-out introduction to the story and the characters and just when it was about to get interesting, the movie ended.

Upgrade (2018) 7.5/10

Unexpected treat...sci-fi B-movie that isn't trying to be anything more. Definitely worth a watch.

10x10 (2018) 6/10

Fairly compelling mystery thriller with some iffy plot elements. Will not appeal to all but I enjoyed it more then the poor IMDB score suggested.

Watched it again over the weekend. Was a bit of a slog. These Marvel movies are very disposable.
Appears that only TDK will stand the test of time?
Honestly I feel the same. Thing is it's making them money so they'll keep churning them out.
Me too. Couldn't bear to watch the whole thing again . Was wierd so I just skipped to the interesting parts for the second viewing ..

Mission: Impossible - Fallout 6.5/10

Not the worst of the lot, with some decent action sequences. Henry Cavill did a good job, although I thought he was under-utilised
