America Animals (2018) 6/10

Not worth the hype. Not a particular special true crime thriller film.

Upgrade (2018) - 8/10

This was really good. Loved the way it was filmed, love the fight scenes, the concept and the ending.

Yeah I was bored during the movie. I did however appreciate the last part of the movie where it portrayed the angst and regret that they had after their "job". But overall I expected more from the movie. 6.5/10 for me.

Patient Zero - 3/10. Why was this made? Such a waste of 3 fine actors.

Crimson Tide (1995) - 8/10. Still great.

Which do you consider fine actors? Looked at the cast and I only recognize 2, neither I would consider very good imo.

The Paperboy (2012) 6/10

Obscure & left-field crime drama with some racy scenes.

Oceans 8 - 6/10. Practically a shot for shot remake of Oceans 11.

Hereditary - 9/10. Bone chilling horror masterpiece. Toni Collette is amazing.

Matt Smith and Stanley Tucci are both very good, generally. I'm a fan of Natalie Dormer, too. All 3 wasted on this.

Down a Dark Hall (2018) 4/10
Interesting albeit slapped together storyline that left out bits in between and ends anticlimactic, it's a supernatural thriller without the thriller.........Uma Thurman aged well the acting not so much.

Adrift - 6.5/10. All is Lost type story marred by flashback narrative and lame twist ending.
Twist may have been lame, but it would have been worse if they had let him live in the movie when he died in real life. I suppose it's only a twist if you didn't know the real story of what actually happened. Was always a bit uncomfortable with the movie hearing the plot description of him being alive following the storm (and not knowing the movie had a twist ending) when I knew he was washed overboard in reality - might make the movie lame but it's a truer telling of the story...
