Has nobody watched Alita: Battle Angel ??

Did it this weekend. Jaw dropping performance capture and cgi but unimpressed with the story. Connelly and Ali also wasted.
7/10.

Mistérios de Lisboa [Mysteries of Lisbon] (2010)

A 4 1/2 hour Portuguese (and French ) language movie that is based on an 1854 novel by Camilo Castelo Branco. Very dreamlike...lots of flashbacks and strange characters. Perhaps the memories of a dying man (João) or an epic poem written by him? 7/10

The bits I did watch where they tell his life story is fine, but then suddenly I think I'm back in the 80's watching Fame.

It's a musical. And you are right, not everyone's cup of tea. I don't normally watch musicals but I would rate Rocketman 7/10.

Fun but also starting to get predictable. Writing at Pixar seems to no longer be as strong

Thoroughly enjoyed this.

Lego movie 2 - 7/10
Called the ending from the first 10 min of the movie. Still had a lot of fun moments.

This was all watched on the plane too and from the Netherlands as I had young kids with me so ended up mainly watching the family friendly stuff.

Brilliant installment.
Thoroughly enjoyed it. Good storyline and sets up the next phase of the MCU nicely.
Tom Holland does a great job
