Last Pirates wasn't too bad.
I believe the latest MiB is an abomination.

The series got better. They leaned into the silly action and made something that kinda deviated from the first two movies but filled a gap in the silly action genre and they clearly had fun doing it.Let’s not forget the fast and the furious![]()
Indiana Jones
The Mummy
Pirates of the Caribbean
Transformers
Dumb and dummer
Home alone (only got to 3 I think but it was terrible)
Superman IV
Just about any of the horror thriller stuff apparently (not my genre)
Highlander
etc.

+ Die Hard something or other.
Mad Max: Fury Road is fantastic.
Different question: how many film series' with 4 or more movies were genuinely good initially and got terrible with the latter ones?
Murder Mystery (2019) - 7/10
Side note 1 : My wife was obsessed with how weird Jennifer looked in this movie. Plastic surgery or old age?

Side note 2 : I dunno why, but I have a liking for Gemma Aterton. In a dirty kind of way only

Fantastic? It wasn't even a Mad Max movie. Mad Max was a background actor, in Fury Road. The whole story revolved around Charlene, pft.

Eyes Wide Shut (1999) 8.5/10
Wow, what a thinker (film). So much depth & substance. So much elements & hidden meanings/messages. Deeply impressive work from Stanley Kubrick.
