Rocketman (2019) 7/10

Not the biggest Elton John fan but this bio film was a rather good watch. Well-told & engaging. Taron Egerton is excellent.

Zodiac (2007)

(Directors cut) The movie felt a bit loose and the style strange. Although there were no likable characters, it was still a very interesting (true) story. 7/10

I thought it was going to be horrible. But, I actually enjoyed it :X3:

Jacob's Ladder (2019) 4/10

The original 1990 film was an absolute winner in terms of its depth & narrative. This 2019 remake is unnecessary, bland & changes some major aspects of the original film. None for the better.

Hard pass.

Wild Honey (2017)

Something completely different. A funny story about honesty, love and fakery. So simple, yet complex. 7.5/10

Driven (2018) 6.5/10

Pretty good biographical drama of John DeLorean & his quest for building his ultimate car.

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood - 8/10.

Great fun, and some wonderful performances by Di Caprio and Pitt. Main criticism is probably that Robbie felt underutilised. Also a wonderful soundtrack and cinematography that adds a lot to the atmosphere without becoming gratuitous.

John Wick 3 - 7.5/10.

I could easily watch many more of these movies. So cool. Some great locations thrown into this one, too.

Dog Wick 3: Parabarkum - 7.5/10

Man, the chinese scene was awesome, then the desert scene was awesome, then the city scene was awesome. This movie was awesome.

Give me more!

A reporter asked QT about Robbie's character and he shut her down. Quite hilarious.
