Don't have to, I think...this new one is set 3 years after the Khan one ended so I wasn't planning on it.

Not necessary but try to watch in 2D. 3D doesn't add much.

I've always been a sucker for 3D but it works better in gaming than movies, IMO.

There's a scene in Avatar where the general is piloting a mech and the external cam viewport to the side is at a different depth to the other instrument panels - one of my favourite 3d moments. I generally don't mind it anymore for movies.

Feel good & entertaining adventure comedy from NZ. High production value as well.

Really wasn't very good. Acting was mediocre, cgi really poor.

Cannot be compared to Graystoke: the legend of Tarzan 1984. Christopher Lambert nailed it imo.

The Magnificent Seven - 7.5/10.

Great fun. Classic Western, so you know what you're getting. Cinematography was also very good, along with the James Horner score.

Star Trek Beyond 7/10. Not much to say, it seemed squandered on shoddy directing but still fun

Ya, pretty much. Still enjoyable, but the poorest of the 3. Lin's directing shows. And Elba was wasted, to a degree.

Ghostbusters (2016) 6/10

Not nearly as atrocious as the media would make it seem.Most of the female cast feels out of their depth; the role of Chris Hemsworth was highly stupid. Dialogue was rather dreadful as well. All the cameos of the original guys were good & there was some laughs as well.

Make sure u guys watch this. Fantastically original with brilliant performances all round. It will make you both laugh and cry but never goes too deep that it becomes a tedious watch. A truly must see. A full 5 stars from me ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
