I felt the same but I couldn’t even finish it

Really, it wasnt that bad. Unless you are trying to be the 'cool guy' / 'edgy guy' of the internet.
Yes there a bad movies, but I know before hand what I am getting into.

There seems to be a lot of people who:
a) Have a sleeping disorder - you know the ones who apparently fell asleep while watching
b) Have more money than sense, because they can just walk out during a film - "Look at me guys I'm edgy"

I don't know what point you're trying to make. I didn't like Solo at all and I got so bored and disappointed that I stopped watching it. I didn't pay for a ticket. It was mediocre in every way.

Rocketman: 7/10 - Preferred Bohemian Rhapsody. I didnt like the way they told certain parts of the story in the movie. Although good props to the lead if he did the singing himself.

Between Two Ferns: The Movie: 7/10 - Like the web series but longer. Made me laugh though so thats the main thing

Yesterday: 8/10 - Loved this movie. Loved the whole idea and how it was put together. I knew enough to appreaciate some of the jokes. Plus this how I like my comedies, granted there was one little soppy moment, had Kate McKinnon in it so that is always a plus

John Wick 3 - 8.5/10
Great stuff, action all the way and ended on the perfect note for chapter 4.
Only part that I didn't like was near the end when John was being beaten by the two kung-fu guys and he didn't put up much of a fight, he just seemed to take the punches, he got his mojo back though but for a while there he just seemed to take it. Otherwise great movie for any action junkie.

Not sure where to post this, but this thread seems as good as any.

Got a question about John Wick 3 (with a little help from the internet I actually know what the word was now).
Near the end once John has fallen off the roof after being shot by Winston, the woman Adjudicator checks the alleyway and realises that John's body is missing. She then goes and has a chat with Winston about it and after that is done and she is walking away Winston says to himself in a quiet voice "Baba Yaga". According to the internet that is John's nickname. Is that correct, was it established in one of the earlier movies?

Then there's the question of whether Winston shot John to save him or kill him. By uttering that one word it seems that it could be the latter, though the fact that he shot him in his bulletproof suit says otherwise, so who knows.

Anyway forgot to say in my review earlier that the dogs were an awesome addition! Couldn't tell in the scenes if they were real or they used CGI when things really heated up. Never seen dogs used in a movie like that before. Excellent.

BoxOfficed Toy Story 4 today. Weakest in the series by far and I hate the ending. 6/10

Baba Yaga was used a few times in the original Wick . They translated it as "bogeyman" . So that seems to be his nickname.

Fix your spoiler tag. It's incorrect

This is the movie review thread, not review other people's behavior.

Baba Yaga is discussed in the first film, when the kid goes to see his father and he explains why the car and dog is a real issue.

It’s also established at the beginning of John Wick 2, when he is about to go steal his car back and the Russian is talking to his henchman.

In The Shadow of the Moon - 6/10. 12 Monkeys meets True Detective. Interesting but stupid.

Looks fine to me. What's wrong with it?
There are 2 spoilers one can use, I used the one where it blurs out the text.

Lion King (2019) - 6/10. A good argument for why these live action remakes don’t work. Plus they need to stop giving huge budgets to Jon Favreau, he’s a lazy director.

I just can’t stand the prick. He is notoriously anti British, supporting the IRA and the Argies claim to the Falklands for example.

Which of course is his right, but he can go and fsck himself and my one man boycott will continue unabated.

Then you'll enjoy the film '71. Set during The Troubles.
