Haha. A little gem.

Coming 2 America (2021) 6/10

High nostalgia factor (with a big OG cast) dissipates quickly. Mostly bland half-baked story with weak jokes.

Sound of Metal (2019) 7.5/10

Powerful & thought provoking watch. Good amount of depth. Riz Ahmed is excellent.

Cosmic Sin, jeez about time Bruce Willis retires with dignity.
It's so bad. I didn't expect it to be particularly good, but it's so shyte.

Was hoping for some 90s-era scifi nostalgia, but ugh.

Willis didn't look like he could even be bothered learning the lines.

I Care a Lot - 7/10 - Pike is outstanding but movie seems far fetched. Casting of Dinklage was a weird choice.

Revisited some favourites.

Iron Man (2008) 8/10. It is simply mesmerising watching RDJ transform into Tony Stark, never mind how many times I see it.

Thor Ragnarok (2017) 8/10. I can't wait to see what the irreverent Taika Waititi is going to do to the Star Wars universe after this.

Lake Placid (1999) 7/10. Classic comedy horror with one of my favourite casts.

Crisis (2021) 6.5/10

Hard-hitting drug thriller with interlinked stories. Good cast, average execution.

Mank - 6.5/10. Homage to golden age Hollywood with none of the wit

The Mauritanian (2021) 6.5/10

Has an old school, slow burn feel to it...decent but a little uninspired. I probably would have stopped watching if the lead actor hadn't done such a good job.

Lake Placid goes well with Deep Rising for a lazy comedy-horror Sunday afternoon.

I would give it a 3/10 - couldnt get myself to finish watch it. Gets these points for the barbershop scene mostly and nostalgia factor. The rest was quite crap.

Dreamland (2019) 6/10

Not far off a wannabe Bonnie & Clyde but without the character development or charm. Margot Robbie is obviously a win.
