Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022) 7/10

Cool idea, lots of good casting, excellent visuals but script is on the messy side & ironically not enough Multiverse action.

The Man from Toronto (2022) 6/10

Fun watch, nothing stimulating but some funny moments. Expected more chemistry from Hart & Harrelson.

I don't really watch the show but I know many do, just dropped.

Pretty impressive overall score as well.

Instant Karma (2021) 4/10

Half decent story let down by so bad it's good acting (from all) & really bad dialogue. Very cringy.

The Black Phone (2021) 5 / 10

Is mediocre at the best IMO. Nothing new. Nothing really memorable unfortunately.

Hmmm. The trailer was amazing. The reviews don't seem so great. Curious to see what you think.

I'll give it a try, but I'm not expecting too much. As you said, the reviews don't look too encouraging.

The Black Phone

Not sure what the hype was all about. Standard thriller with some mild paranormal elements.
Decidedly average but at least the acting was solid so I'll give it a 6/10.

Joe Rogan recommends this movie! I'm going to try it this weekend.

Jesse Eisenberg is just one of those quirky actors you can't help but enjoy. Even that low-budget estate horror movie (Vivarium) was amazing because he was in it.

What Jesse Eisenberg movie do you recommend I cue.

The Social Network and Zombieland. But mainly I'm waiting on your review of Battlefield Earth for... reasons.

I've enjoyed both those Eisenberg movies. I see he has been off the radar for the last 3 years. Hopefully, he was busy with something new.

Now I will have to put Battlefield Earth first on the queue for... reasons.
