The Black Phone (2021) 6.5/10

Grimly yet overrated for what it is. Some good suspense & play-through but not deserving of the hype. Good acting for a supernatural horror.

Ah yes. Thank god there is movies that isn't shot by people having an heart attack*. Wide, deep and long shots included. Story over just sfx it. More than just blood and sex, not that I don't enjoy them, but at times it is also nice to slow things down and take a more nior approach. I'm talking about the new batman movie (2022): Scoring 8/10 leaning towards 8.5.

*I'm so over people trying to make movies (and hide their bad ****) with The Shakes. No one wants that kak; it is a rather bad and comes off as the grips having a heart attack...

It's pretty good, 7/10.

The one I'm waiting to see is this

That Marcel the Shell looks awesome. I assume it's for children?

The previously disadvantaged phone 2021: 7/10

Hardly something I would call horrific, bloody or shocking. Still it has some merit in good acting, but as a decent horror I would personally look some place else.

The Last Duel - 7/10
A drama set in medieval France with Matt Damon, Ben Affleck and Adam Driver. An interesting watch but a bit drawn out at over 2 hours.
